St. Joseph?s Physicians (SJP) is a well-established multi-specialty group with over 160 physicians and a very strong primary care referral base. SJP is looking to build a GI specialty practice and coverage model and is actively looking to add two-three physicians to the new group.

The selected providers will take part in covering as a GI Hospitalist for Hospital consults and performing procedures, as well as potentially seeing patients in the outpatient clinic.

• Large network of primary care and specialty physicians
• Call for this opportunity is currently one weekend per month; affiliated groups provide evening and weekend coverage
• Hospital inpatient volume averages 15-20 patients and 3-7 new consults daily
• Resident teaching and clinical research opportunities

The practice is looking to foster and grow expertise in the following areas:

• Advanced Endoscopy - including EUS w/therapeutics, Advanced ERCP skills, EMR/ESD and enteroscopy
• Inflammatory bowel disease
• Hepatology (non-transplant)
• Esophageal and rectal manometry
